About Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Electrical & Electronics Engineering is one of the oldest, core fields of engineering, always evergreen in terms of scope, job prospects and implementation. The Electrical Department at CEK is the youngest Department which came into existence in 2013. Ever since, its existence, it has strived and succeeded in producing students who are technically sound and employable. Electrical & Electronics Engineering serves as an appropriate launch pad for several allied fields including  Electronics and Communication, Computer Science and Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Nano Electronics,  Photonics, Biomedical Instrumentation, Sensor Technology and numerous others. The Electrical branch has boundless career openings in terms of jobs, self-employment and higher studies. power generation, transmission and distribution, maintenance of electrical drives and devices, design of electrical systems, installation of lighting and power loads for domestic and industrial applications are  the potential zones of work for EEE engineers. The present day development in the field of Electric Vehicles and Green Building has opened a whole new corridor of opportunities for Electrical Engineers. Alternatively, students  can also opt to become certified Energy Auditor and Energy Manager and pursue a successful career in the field of energy auditing and management.
