Dr. Deepa J completed her B.Tech degree in Electronics Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kerala, India, in 1994, followed by M.Tech and Ph.D. degrees from CUSAT in 2003 and 2014, respectively.In 1995, she joined the Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD) as a Lecturer in Electronics. Over her 29-year teaching career, she has held various positions, including Principal, Head of the Department, IQAC Coordinator, TEQIP Network Coordinator, faculty advisor for various technical clubs, including IEEE SIGHT and IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS). Her research interests include signal and image processing as well as bioinformatics. She has authored /co-authored more than 25 technical papers in international journals/ conferences. She has successfully coordinated a National conference, a National-level technical fest, and over 10 faculty training programs. She has also coordinated and completed numerous student-level funded projects, including the 2021 IEEE SIGHT Group of the Year International award-winning project, SIGHT GRAMINA DIGITAL HUB. Dr. Deepa J is a senior member of IEEE and a life member of ISTE. |
